It may very well be a heating issue even if you say it feels cool. Especially since it still thought I needed to update my dound drivers even though I updated them from the manufacturer just the day before.. And now, it has gotten so bad, that I have a freeze every 2-10 minutes. I am having exact same problem as the poster (Alcad) described. Memtest86+ So it is most likely hardware, and best solution currently posted is probably the best method to figure it out. Now Enable hardware auto-updating via Windows Update (Steps 3 and 6), Check for Updates, install any drivers under Important and Optional, after requested reboot Test Performance again.

I have been having this issue with all sorts of video when streaming like the rest of you, but I am also having it with content resident on the iPad. Seems some sort of short (negative normally feeds through the case to ground it through the ground) that I couldn't see was being caused.
