Just choose to install Windows on the drive you wanna format and choose "format this partition" from drive options/additional options.Then cancel installation on that particular partition and choose another one. I think that's down to the wireless keyboard and mouse, and I rarely see the need for to put it on Sleep so I never bothered to look in to it. To be sure I suggest you change how Windows installs updates to Notify to schedule restart.

I had a similar problem - the machine would restart by itself either when put to sleep or when fully turned off. and remember, FOR ME, it seems to be hardware problem , so ask a friend or someone to borrow a PC (not expensive one ...you know accidents can happen) and replace Easy & quick.
