The registry is large and complex, holding far too much sensitive data for you to personally tamper around with, as one wrong alteration could leave your system inoperable. The cursor that represents the mouse in a Windows environment will usually get stuck in the same position, refusing to move irrespective of where you position the mouse with your hand.
